First of all, I find all of this incredibly unlikely. Trump is literally the weakest candidate the GOP has right now but whatever, moving on. Should he pardon the people from January 6? If he was smart he would already have done so. Its important to point out that Trump could already have done this before Biden was sworn in as the president.
Trump has specifically chosen repeatedly to not support his own base and staff. Aside from making some public stunt which might free one or two people he simply dont care enough to lift a finger for them if it does not benefit himself. Never really understood where you people got the idea that he actually cares about you as an individual.
@Bricealan Yeah, he is the weakest. Those polls are for the primary, not for the general election. One does not equal the other. With Trumps current support, as large as it is according to you, he will be mathematically unable to win the primary since that election includes more people that do not want to vote for Trump and pushes Trumps republican support into a minority.
@Bricealan Yes I did look at polling data and also some meta analysis. Trump does not natively have a majority of support so he needs independents or democrats to vote for him or at least not to vote for his opponent. This has been the biggest downfall of Trump, his antagonism of anyone who is not already a supporter of his which means that all those votes are basically free pickings for his opponents.
There is a saying that Trump can't lose the primary but can't win the general because exactly this.
He won't. He lost in 2016 by three million votes but became President by the vagaries of the electoral college system. He lost in 2020 by seven million votes. If he's nominated in 2024 he will lose by an even bigger margin. The Republican's extreme position on abortion is drawing Democratic voters to the polls. They lost in Kansas. They lost in Wisconsin. They lost in Ohio. There will be about 16 million young people eligible to vote in a Presidential election for the first time. How many do you imagine support Trump and the Republican anti-woman, anti-LGBTQ, anti-science platform?
Absolutely. What happened on Jan 6th was nothing compared to the real insurrections during the summer of 2020. The libs love all insurrections, but they used this one to get back at the orange man.
Oh boyyyy, here we go…. Another dipshit MAGA retard. You need to get real. Orange turd will probably be going to jail. There’s no way in hell he’ll be anywhere near the WH again.
Oh boyyy, here we go... another rude, vulgar tiraid ("another dipshit MAGA retard " "Orange Turd will probably be going to jail" Wow, lady where did you get your dirty, unhibited, mouth? Do you kiss your mother with that same dirty mouth... and talking about a prior president like that!!
I hated some of out past presidents, but had /have more couth than to spout off like that, BASED ON WHAT? No need to respond to me.
@Bricealan There may be no need to, but definitely a desire to. You can espouse about couth all you want, but rude, vulgar tirades are my specialty. And you can get the fuck off your high horse about showing respect for former presidents — I actually agree in most part, that there should be some reverence & respect for the OFFICE, as well as for the MEN/WOMEN that serve in that role — that said, you want to act like OrangeTurd was ‘just another president’ or somehow owed the same, or even a sliver of that courtesy & respect, you must out of your mind! — with indignation, you exclaim, “Based on what” ? — I’ll spare you another tirade, but I short, I’ll say EVERYTHING. Based on EVERYTHING he did, everything he didn’t do, & everything about who he is, & who he isn’t.
So kindly, STFU.
@Bricealan PS) He doesn’t give anyone respect, & thereby doesn’t get or deserve any respect. His former occupation aside, he is truly through & through a piece of shit person. Always has been, always will be. A dishonest, shallow, petulant, petty, ignorant, disgraceful, bloviating & gesticulating clown.

Were I HE, no. What they did was of their own choice, and as we all know, caused a huge shit storm that for whatever reason, came back to haunt him as if her was someone causing an 'insurrection' which is, on the face, of it fucking brain dead.
We have always had unruly behavior, and look what has happened in Seattle. How many of those brain dead, assholes are in jail, or facing charges?
The people that stormed the capital building (and I am a conservative) deserve what they get. I would not/ could not ever participate in some kind of stupid shit like that, and I have always supported Donald Trump.
Sorry about @Tamera952 they are everywhere... Wow, "Orange Turd" did you see that?
What’s the capital building? You don’t even know the difference between capital and capitol.
Ex president trump is done. His political career is over. He will be lucky if he won't go to jail.
Do you think we would let that happen to them? We are half the country. You can’t do without our consent
Already did. It happened. And no one is going to resist, because consequences are known.
His rightful place is jail or the bottom of a guillotine.
Trumptards are just too retarded to understand.

Trump won't be in an office, he'll be in a cell.
He should pardon the ones who were immediately thrown in prison without trial. That is such a fascist thing to do for people who claim to be against fascists.
@Tamera952 Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the proud boys.
www.washingtonexaminer.com/.../proud-boys-enrique-tarrio-sentenced-prison-jan-6
The dude wasn't even there and yet he got one of the longest sentence out of everyone who was, he couldn't be there because he was banned from being at DC for burning a BLM banner.
Prior to that, he was released from what Tarrio said was solitary confinement in June after his arrest in March 2022 and was then sent to prison on that same charge. Considering he is someone who fights against the state, what do you think they were doing to him? Even if he lied about being in solitary he was thrown in jail for over a year, which violated his right to a speedy trial.
The rest of the proud boys who were there likely faced the same punishment if not worse, since some were actually in DC.
Regardless if you agree with his conviction or culpability, my only point was, the fact remains that he DID in fact have a TRIAL, which you disingenuously stated didn’t happen.
From the Washington examiner: “ The jury took just seven days to deliver a verdict in the grueling and choppy case. Jury selection began last December, when prospective jurors were informed the trial would last as many as seven weeks. Instead, it dragged over four months“
@Tamera952 Yeah, he did eventually have one after several months of jail time, or solitary if Tarrio was telling the truth which is fucked up. And then sentenced to over two decades more tome being locked away for something he wasn't even there for but for merely supporting what he might as well assumed was a protest.
Yes, he should do it on Day 1.
He should join them
