In places like the US, the belief of the average woman is that we live under a patriarchy which in their definition, it means a society built by men for the benefit of men at the expense of women.

Naturally this will make women feel very resentful of men even though if they can take a moment and look around, the conjecture has no merit.

Now we have things like the Barbie movie that made over a billion dollars with its $145 million cost. It advertised as just a silly movie about dolls like it should have been, but it ended up being a very expensive advertisement for feminism and the whole patriarchy conjecture. The women here were so infatuated with it, that it sparked a trend where relationships have ended if a woman's male partner didn't say the movie was good. It was like a feminist Schindler's List to them.

One of the worst parts about that movie was a rant one of the characters make about how much she has a problem with basically being a decent person like if she isn't supposed to be mean if she is in a leadership position, as if that is an expectation only women are held to.

If that doesn't tell you about the state male and female relationships are in within the west, I don't know what will.

I don't know where you are, but here in America the common perception is that women from places like Ukrain, Russia and eastern European countries have not been spoiled by feminism to nearly the degree American women have, and that they still value men and treat them with respect. That is very appealing to American men.
