Yes definitely I already view the 80s and 90s as barbaric when my moms speak about some of the shit she did to me and my siblings as babies. Like circumcision, ear piercings, water feeds, not breastfeeding long enough, sleeping in beds of plush with blankets and stuffed animals, none or very sketchy carseats/other baby gear. Cry it out method where they let babies cry themselves to sleep.

Literally I don't know how some of us are alive. They were raising us like fucking animals back then. No wonder everyone has trauma. I'm sure the future will think of modern parents like this as well. And yes I know this a random example but blows my mind to think about. All that shit literally so barbaric in terms of parenting.

And nah circumcision is everything that's wrong with American men. Lots of myths. It actually increases std rate. America has the highest std rate because of that.
