How do other countries deal with the transgender community?

In Germany I see it being on the raise since many especially young people are more left leaning at least in public it´s becoming a trend topic with companies saying they are in line with the community using their brand logo in rainbow colours.
There are some conservative voices but they are talked down as being racist, transphobic or demeaning so there is no real public debate. It´s not really controversial because there are no issues that make the news like Lia Thomas did with the American swimming community. If here a guy decided to swim for the women´s team it wouldn´t make the news at all because swimming doesn´t have a lobby over here.
Generally speaking people live by the proverb: What I don´t know about I don´t care so if you live as a trans and it´s not attacking me in my lifestyle it doesn´t matter to me.

Yes maybe I can´t say I´ve never been to the US I can´t decide that. I would say the topic is less controversial over here in terms of making public news.

Here in egypt people are more busy finding food than caring about a mans right to wear heels or whatever. To us this is a Luxury we can't afford. Our currency is collapsing horribly. Many people here dont know even that transgenders exist. And if they do they see it all under the umbrella of being gay or a pervert. And i really do think that we dont have time for this nonesense because our country is in a survival crises

Other countries than who? United States? You'll find some countries which treat them badly and other which treat them better than United States currently does. In some cultures there's an official third gender. In some cultures it's seen as the acceptable solution to the sin of being gay. Some places probably imprison and murder them. In the US, we just like to restrict their rights, humiliate them and say they aren't a real part of society. So we're somewhere in between.
