  Yes, been there many times for work and fun. There are shitty people in every state, including Florida, but no more there than anywhere else. It has it's problems but there are much worse states for sure. I don't live in California now but I grew up there and still have family there so I visit often. It's terrible, definitely more of a cesspool of lunatics and morons than Florida.
