Why does Florida have less gdp than New York if Florida has more people?

Is that because of Wall Street? Florida is still very wealthy.

I am no expert but seems like much of the Florida economy is based on tourism and agriculture. While there are bigger cities like Tampa and Miami much of Florida is spread out and not as industrial. That probably matches with upper NY but NYC is so financial and huge it may be the thing that puts NY over the top.
