Populist Republicans and establishment Republicans have very few things in common. It’s not surprising they can’t come to an agreement. If the Leftists in congress had any balls they would be doing the same with the Establishment Dems.
The Republicans are having an identity crisis. There is a group that speaks for citizens and wants to cut the deficit, stop wasteful spending and secure our borders. The other part are the leftovers from the Bush era and wants to serve their big money donors and keep the money flowing. Some of these need to be weeded out in the next election.

I think if we get lucky the Republicans will not control the presidency or the house or the senate after the next elections and they can repair to their various mansions and try and rehabilitate themselves. We need to drill for oil, we need to manufacture again especially prescription drugs and electronics, wee need to secure the border and implement mass deportations, our foreign adversaries must again have a healthy respect for us, programs must be funded to care for elderly and veterans as a priority and foreign wars where the US has no stake get put on the bottom of the list. Energy independence, peace throug strength and common sense should be at the top of the list.

The ocean would rise so much that my vacation house would be ocean front property and I would not have to move to Florida but it has been El Nino that has caused the recent warm Temps. He has not gotten the votes he requires to win and considering everyone before him (4? 5? 6? dont even know at this point) failed and Johnson has not brought anything new to persuade them then he is also going to fail for the same reason.
Quite frankly, it is looking more and more likely that some in the GOP will have to cross over and vote for the Democrat representative if there is to be any majority established.

First of all, lets assume that you are correct in there being a transgender school shooter and lets even imagine them taking anti depressants from a liberal doctor or whatever. That is simply a correlation. You have not demonstrated that one causes the other, that these factors causes the school shooting. You just committed a logical fallacy, congratulations.
Furthermore, since transgender people make up a portion of students and liberals makes up a portion of doctors you would EXPECT some representation of both in any given random sample meaning that your hypothetical school shooting is entirely compatible with my side of the argument.

Do you have ANY fucking idea of how many people a day is given powerful drugs for any number of diseases, disorders or whatever? Around 66% of adults in USA uses prescription medication and you dont even need prescriptions to get medicinal drugs. There are probably a higher percentage of people on some kind of drug in USA than there are people in the world wearing shoes every day.

"Altering your brain chemistry" sounds scary or whatever but that is what normally happens in your body. Your body constantly alters your brain chemistry and outside influences also constantly do it. None of that necessarily leads one to become a school shooter as you claim.

Yes. Aspirin is in the same family of drugs as Antidepressants. In many ways, Aspirin is far more dangerous actually if that is what you are implying. Also the shoe example was just to point out how silly your argument is without causation since you can find correlations in anything, including who wears shoes or not.
Yes. Aspirin is more dangerous. The things you get over the counter is extremely low dosage because of this and you would need a prescription for the higher dose ones. Even then Aspirin alone kills countless people every year not to mention other pain killers. Just because something is OTC does not mean its safe or even necessarily safer than something that is not.

I got some higher doses of a OTC pain killer that will kill me if I take more than two tablets in a day and not at the same time.
