Maybe, but in the movie it looked like wood. I think the actual chamber where the bullet travels, would have to be made of metal. But the rest of the gun could probably be made out of anything.

Kids get their parents' gun and shoot their school teachers.

Kids get their parents' guns and shoot their classmates.

Adults get guns and shoot up schools of innocent children.

Adults also get guns and shoot up public places of innocent people.

This is not a war zone, we don't need military-grade weapons when you yourself are not in the military. And the above results that have been recorded enough times to be put in the news and telling others that the world is not a safe place is a sign that YES, it's a problem when someone owns too many or too powerful a firearm for their home.

Ok I should have phrased that sentence better I have had people uncomfortable just knowing guns in my house if kids come we secure them many women carry guns here and in their homes too

Your gun ownership is not the problem, don’t assume that gun control means you lose all your firearms. It means finding ways to keep dangerous weapons out of the hands of dangerous people. I’ve no opposition to a hand gun with an extremely limited magazine, and you’re right that we can’t stop someone from hurting people even if guns were made totally illegal, but knife attacks don’t do anywhere near as much damage as guns

Right, the rise in violence is disturbing. Getting the truth nowadays is not easy. The gun debate is emotionally charged. I regret my post but respect members opinions 😊
