Terrorism doesn't include state parties conducting any legitimate activity against any lawful target in accordance with the law of armed conflict. It's pretty fucking simple really. Israel was attacked which granted them a casus belli to attack Hamas. They officially declared war on Hamas for the purpose of self defense. They are a uniformed army carrying out a defined mission ordered by a competent authority. All diplomatic means have been exhausted and have provided no reasonable prospect of stopping the armed attack. They are still subject to the law of war.

Military necessity justifies making military objectives, such as enemy combatants, the object of attack. So, an attack on enemy combatants that incidentally damages civilian property would raise proportionality considerations. On the other hand, where there is no justification for acting, such as unlawful attacks directed against the civilian population, a proportionality analysis would not be necessary to reach the conclusion that the attack would be unlawful.

The cowards known as Hamas ambushed Israel on 10/9 and killed hundreds of innocent women, children and elderly, and took innocent Israelis and others as hostages and then went back into hiding like pussies in places where they are intentionally using innocent Palestinians as their human shields. What we are seeing now is the inevitable consequence of that choice, and it's EXACTLY what Hama wanted. It was Hamas' intention all along for thousands of innocent Palestinians to be killed to destabilize the region and turn public opinion against Israel. The fact you are blaming Israel for that right is incredibly dishonest.

In the big picture, both Israel and Palestine are equally to blame for this never-ending conflict. What's happening in Gaza right now is just the latest incarnation of the endless childishness between your countries. You've both been acting like petulant children for decades and fucking the world up for everyone else. You do know what Hamas did on October 7, 2023, right? You do know that Hamas not only deliberately targets Israeli civilians, they also deliberately put Palestinian civilians in harm's way and use them as human shields, right?

You do know that firing rockets from civilian areas, storing weapons in civilian areas, and using them for command and control makes them legitimate military targets, right? Now why would Hamas do such a thing if they weren't trying get as many civilians killed as possible? You do know that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad kill Palestinian civilians when they fire rockets that end up hitting civilians in Gaza, right?

Hamas has openly stated that its goal is the destruction of Israel and "throwing all Jews into the sea", and has taken several actions over the years (in addition to its7 Oct 2023 attack) in an attempt to do that.

Israel is reacting to an unprovoked attack on its citizens and is trying to destroy the attackers.

Hamas uses civilians as human shields. They put their headquarters in a tunnel underneath a hospital then everyone is surprised when civilians get killed. The Israeli civilians at that rock concert did not have human shields, They were killed just as dead.

Because hamas hides behind civilians they kept the women and children from leaving Gaza so they could use there lives to potentially ward off bombing. That’s why there main base is under a hospital and probably why they fake bombed the first hospital and blamed Israel for it. It’s a manipulative war.
