Why are they so many homeless people in blue states like California and New York?

Cause we are dumb and let them have everything free!

Also we don't encourage them to get a job or be anything but homeless!

Really those are my worst patients and they are constantly coming back for free food or just a warm bed and they are way too needy and stay there months till we can find a place to transfer them too!

Taking up precious bed space that others can use who would be here a week or few days not months on end being demanding rude and mentally unstable and often dangerous to us!

Also here it's warm all year so they don't care about shelter much.

For the same reason there are so many in red states like Texas and Wisconsin, and purple states like Florida and Maine: mental health is seen as a luxury, drug addiction is rampant, and the economy's been flushed down the toilet by governors who apparently failed high school economics.

Democrats have run their districts into the ground. Now with all the illegal aliens swarming to all the democrat "sanctuary states" the situation has gotten much worse. I can't speak for NY or other blue states, but in California, where I live, we have what's called a progressive tax system, which is where the rich pay 15% and the poor pay only 5%. If you're in that lower tax bracket you get a ton of government aid. So California is a great place to live if you're poor, but not if you're rich or a business owner.
