This “me too” movement has hurt single women in the dating world the most.


Yes, l agree that more men than ever feel as though flirting and bantering with women will get them thrown into the clink.


But, if a man respectfully shows interest in a woman and can do it with full confidence, not come off as controlling or weak, then his chances improve for the good. If a woman is truly attracted to a man, she will make it easy for him to approach. A man just needs to be cognizant of her invitation.


Don’t confuse what l am about to type as being misogynistic:


Be an alpha around women. As l said, don’t get confused. An alpha, a proper alpha isn’t an asshole. Doesn’t have to be the loudest one in the room. Doesn’t have to bully to show dominance.
Doesn’t have to show out so others will see him as an alpha.


Alpha males, true alpha’s, are respected, they protect those that are closest to him. He doesn’t start shit with guys weaker than him. True alphas do not find themselves in precarious situations out of stupidity.


Alphas show respect, compassion and make people around them feel secure.

It absolutely has, and now a man takes a risk by hitting on a woman. In some countries cold approaching or even staring are considered criminal offenses. If a woman finds a man unattractive and he asks her out there is a very real possibility that it could have serious consequences for him, and he usually won't know upfront if she finds him attractive which makes every interaction a risk:

I guess I don't know what the legal standard is but at my work place it would only be considered harassment after repeated attempts of asking a person out after getting a no the initial time of being asked.

Yes of course. Because of that, which I’m not going to say was a completely bad thing. But it was pushed so hard that a lot of men aren’t willing to approach women these days. Even to help women who are getting mugged, maybe need help in the gym w heavy weights, etc. I don’t know if it’s ongoing yet but some girl is suing a man who saved her after she drowned. She claimed he fondled her while doing CPR. I used to help women a lot myself, but now I’m just like fuck that she’s independent she can do it on her own. Unless it’s my girl or family members.

It could happen yes for sure but I would say the argument is overcharged by people because no one knows for sure that they would have actually asked her out if "metoo" didn´t happen. Speaking from own experience guys use that argument rather look for any argument to explain why they don´t ask out females. So I don´t think it´s the main reason why a presumingly good guy won´t ask a woman out.

Of course. The "me too" movement has made relationships nearly impossible in the west because few men are going to willingly risk being accused of sexual assault, rape etc for asking a girl out. This is one of those "you made your bed now lie in it" moments for women. Because unfortunately the women who are not like that did not feel any need to call those women out. As a result the movement was allowed to fester and spread like a cancer.

I wouldn't say it's probably prevented. Most guys do not fear women. But it permeates everything. So I could see it many times when a guy looked at the woman and went, "No man, she's far too woke." Because if a guy wants to ask a woman out, it's typically a woman he actually believes LIKES his gender. No guy wants a relationship with a woman who considers you the enemy from the moment you say, "Hi."

Absolutely. MeToo did an unbelievable amount of damage. It was basically good for like 3 weeks, and then after that, women started using it as an excuse to take cheap shot at any man they didn't like.

I disagree. Sexual harassment can occur in any setting where one person is in a more powerful position. It can happen in a professional setting, yes but it´s not reduced to professional settings.

Ok then my understanding of the term is different, because I grew up/was taught that sexual harrassment can be any where. Also in a gym setting for instance where a guy corners or follows a girl around.

@bededazzle it’s the paranoia lots of guys have now. Chances are they will be fine. But metoo really did empower the WRONG kind of women. While it definitely did some good it collectively did more damage.

You and I do not much to worry about because we aren’t celebrities. But it seems like the richer and more famous a guy is the bigger the target he is (whether justified or not).

Still though getting falsely accused of something is a very terrifying thought. And people generally take the woman’s word over a man’s (initially) when it’s an abuse story.
