linguistically? well, it is either one of the agglutinative or polysythetic languages. They manage to convey more than one meaning by using only one word. Mainly because affixing used heavily in those languages; therefore, words are not broken down into pieces as it is in English. For example; the sentence I didn't get up. The whole sentence is made up of four words if the negation marker 'not' is excluded. On the other hand, in Turkish, which is a suffix-dominant agglutinative language, only one word is enough to tell the interlocutor the exact same thing. It is "Kalkmadım." "Kalk-" itself is the verb without any conjugation. "-me,-ma" are negation markers, and "-di, -dı" were past tense markers, note that Turkish has two forms of past tense; seen (this one) and heard, the "-m" is the first singular pronoun used when the speaker himself/herself is the subject of a sentence. You can also say " Ben kalkmadım.". Only difference between these two is that in the former, the subject is dropped as the subejct is already in the conjugation of the verb. However, in the latter, it is kept to strengthen the meaning. Let's go back to the English language! I didn't get up. Here, we don't have that much freedom. We can't drop the subject since it may create ambiguity. Moreover, the word order is so rigid that rarely could it be altered. It is my opinion by the way.
