- Comfortable - Having enough savings/investments to cover 6-12 months of living expenses if you lost your job, along with retirement savings. Probably around $100K+ net worth excluding your primary home.

- Well-off - Not having to worry much about big expenses or lifestyle inflation. More like $500K+ net worth including home equity and long-term investments/business assets.

- Wealthy - Having multiple sources of passive income beyond just wages. Maybe $1M+ net worth lets you do pricey vacations, hobbies, help family whenever.

Always look for someone who is a fiduciary. Investors who are legally responsible for your best interest. compared to Edward jones people who rip you off endlessly for decades.
