Why are single mothers getting mad at me when I tell them that I don't date single mothers?

Imagine seeing a girl and after some time they mention they have a kid or 2. The way I am is I am being direct with my standards and as soon as this topic comes up, I mention, that single mothers are a dealbreaker for me. I don't have any kids.

Why are they mad at me? Can't they take a rejection like a normal person, get over it and move on? It's not my fault. Unlike being a short guy being a single mother was their choice (except in cases of s e xual assault AND not being able to get an abortion). On top of that they can easily find spineless boys, who will suck up to them and treat them like a goddess.

Pah! Pinks are getting mad at me for not wanting to date a single mother. I suppose this is a problem on women on a collective level. It's no wonder that passport bros isn't just 2 words for nothing. Get some class.

Haha. I mean, a preference for no kids in your life is understandable, but I see so many men seething with spiteful jealousy over the idea of helping a woman to raise a kid that’s not his own seed. I mean it sends them over the edge. It’s wild.

"Plenty of men" is a huge exaggeration except in the most dysfunctional environments; e. g., men who have spent time in prison seem to be overrepresented when it comes to men who shack up with single moms.
And "jealousy"? Who in the world would be jealous of some fool who lets himself be suckered into raising someone else's kids?

After the divorce to my step farther. My mother never dated again, apart from small thing. This was around 14 years ago and she has been single since.

She didn't want anybody hurting us. Plus I think she was or maybe is still hurt by the relationships of my step father and my father.

I see why they get annoyed but at the same time it's complicated.

In my experience, single moms are usually realistic about their chances of getting a guy to date them, it's other women who aren't single moms who will get all militant about guys saying they don't want to date single moms (as I am sure you've noticed here on GAG).

Well let's just adjudicate a woman's actual choice to pregnate with a worthless male for her children or her agenda to be a single mother instead (ex -parte ) with the father on purpose. Or there could be different reason such as a widow or contention with a father instead of her move to reconsider her children back to they're father. Bc her choices are the basis of this question. The bottom line here is the intention of her choice that developed your interest or not.

I’m the same and won’t involve myself with a guy isn’t a single dad and he must see them 100% of his time. Guys without kids get offended but that’s just where I’m at as a single mom. I don’t want a guy without kids, he’s annoying
