Thank God it currently looks like a Trump win, but my family, friends, and the legal immigrants I know, who paid thousands to come here, we are all afraid that Biden somehow manages to "win" again

Personally I don't think our country will survive that. We're on the brink of collapse already, and the invasion of illegals funded and facilitated by the current "administration" is escalating daily

Everything is up 30% or more in 3 years. What used to be $150 at Walmart is now at least 200 and it takes more than $100 to fill up your truck

I have never been this afraid for the very survival of my country

Whoever wins in November the USA as it is will cease to exist.

Biden's obvious mental incapacity - far more pronounced than Reagan ever was - and nobody invoking the 25th Amendment shows a total lack of spine on Harris's part and that of the Democrats.

The issues surrounding Trump, while probably insufficient to cost him the nomination could wind up being a 2nd Nixon for America. Not a good thing.

Then there's RFK Jr. An independent in the White House is almost unheard of. His ticket of "open" government but closed borders, family pedigree and the fact his uncle and his father ran on the same "transparent" principles - may they Rest in Peace - might just get him the majority he needs to take the White House.

Whichever way you cut it, the USA as it's been cannot continue. The looney left policies making previously moderate concepts look like extremist policies and stumping the politicians with the complex issues like "should a mostly naked transvestite advocating for sterilisation of minors be allowed within a mile of a primary school?" and "so what is a woman?" and "how can we give our Ukrainian friends another trillion dollars while denying basic healthcare to our poorest citizens?"

Over 60 countries hold elections this year. Politically the planet is about to change.

I am not sure Trump can win. What has changed since 2020? The same voting rules in the same states give democrats an enormous advantage Trump's lead in polling does not look to be large enough to overcome.

For any republican to win the Republican party has to print or harvest ballots in said states on a scale equal to what democrats are doing.

They failed to do that in 2022 when they had an even larger polling lead and they seem likely to fail in 2024.

Ultimately it looks like we will keep with the 80 year trend of the English speaking world with a major military conflict event happening every 80 years.

No, this next election will decide if America remains a free country or if it is lost to the democrats. I am optimistic about a Trump win but I am afraid that somebody will take him out.

I don't follow politics much, but it seems to me they've been trying as hard as possible to throw him in prison before the next election. Its been 4 years, why else would they jump back onto digging up dirt on trump?
