Why do women complain about misogyny? Why do men complain about misandry?

I only care about my wife. Other people's mental issues are not my concern.

I think misogyny and misandry are forms of bigotry, based on ignorance. And they upset me as much as any other forms of bigotry, hatred, cruelty and injustice. I can voice my opinions but, beyond that, I don't get too upset over things I can't change. It's like arguing about politics or religion.

I can only control my own mental outlook.

But it does crack me up how much some men and women on GAG obsess about misogyny and misandry. They sound like social justice warriors.
Why don't they just find a partner who isn't an ass hole? Maybe it's because some of them are, themselves, misogynists or misandrists, although they will never admit it. They aren't even aware of their bad attitudes toward the opposite sex. And maybe that's why they are miserable and single.
