Most companies or movies that went too woke have suffered major financial losses
Especially Budlight which made a MAN who insults womanhood as their main face just because he thinks he is a woman

Disney buys the most successful franchise in movie history from George Lucas and after writing a "sequel" trilogy that used the same actors playing old characters with the same name as they had 40 years ago - including killing one on screen because they're that dumb - and finally hiring the most "woke" (meaning comatose and clueless) director they could find, fire her before she shoots a single still because of her interview about the franchise.
They hire a Latino actress to play a character whose defining feature is how white her skin is and zero actual dwarves (dwarfs?) to play the SEVEN DWARVES.
Finally they try to threaten ELON MUSK with MONEY 🤦
By the end of the year Elon will likely own a controlling interest in Disney thanks to Bob Iger insisting on "Woke" policies that mean people stay away by the thousand.
The "Woke" are actually a very vocal minority of the population. But empty vessels make most noise...
Right!
Snow Woke is going to be thr biggest flop of thr century!
I heard they were forced to fire her from the role or something.. and she was crying 😂
She called the hero of the orginal movie a stalker of snoe white.. she deserves the firing.. her career seems ruined
If it's not relevant then yeah.
The thing is no one is drinking beer with the aim to think real word issues, so pushing that as some goal while selling beer makes no sense.
It's the same with video games they start pushing things into games that are not needed because no one is playing said games to start a open conversation about world issues. People are playing them cause they want to have fun.
Same for films most people go see films to escape reality not stay in it.
And that's the main issue your drawing attention to reality that no one was looking for in your product. It's not really about the message on a whole, one could agree with the stance but it still negatively impacts as it's not what they came for.
And I am left asf by the way and know these things aren't helpful. There's a few times I think it's a overreaction but a lot of time I agree with the who asked for this?
But they haven't? Bud light (Anheuser-Busch) did not suffer major financial loss... There's also no way you as an individual would know for sure if they did unless they themselves said so which I don't believe they have.
They won't admit it of course, but they sure did lose their position as the No.1 Beer in USA
Yes... Their rank has been declining for years and Modelo had been rising in popularity. It was bound to happen controversy or not...
not suffer major financial loss? According to Newsweek, Anheuser-Busch’s stock value dropped by as much as $4 billion since the controversy started" that is not major enough?
@strateguy632 Coincidence? I think not
@strateguy632 you should look at their stocks over the years...
Yes I said this when it first began but they all did it anyway and didn't seem to care about losing so much money. Now they care and are scrambling to fix it.

pushing that "tik tok influencer" was a dumb risk. "According to CBS, sales of Bud Light have been down 23 percent compared to 2022". lost 1/4 even past costimers left. people called to boycott it. i was unaffected, i have always gotten stella.
ALSO coca cola! against a voter identified law "Coca-Cola CEO calling the law wrong and, a step backward" gasp! dumb risk!
luckily we have pepsi and "7 up!
coke managed to alienate EVERYONE since then a poll revealed even democrats were less likely to purchase Coca-Cola products, "24 percent of Democrats also said they were less likely to buy Coke." a quarter of democrats polled were alienated.
bigger problem "38 percent of independent voters surveyed said they were less likely" to buy.
in addition to the obvious loss of republican customers.
men will stop shaving when gillette insulted us, luckily we can buy pepsi instead.
I think it's a distraction. For decades the left just wanted companies to pay their taxes and pay their employees. But the right doesn't want that and the right can't say they don't want that or they lose their audience. So, instead, they created this culture war no one on the left cared about and pumped money into keeping it full of rage and in everyone's face so everyone had to choose a side. This allowed companies to be "woke," which costs them nothing, while continuing not to pay their taxes or employees. And as the right attacks them for being woke, the media can pretend the left is defending them, even though I dont actually see anyone on the left standing up for "woke" companies.
But I suspect after another 3-5 years of this brainwashing everyone will agree the way to stand up to companies is not to force them to pay but to force them to either be or not be woke, whatever that is...
It is becoming more and more true lately:
True that!
Disney will lose more if they release the woke snow white in 2025
Suicide move. Bud Light used to be the "safe choice" when buying beer for a party. The guests who were watching calories would drink it, but the flavor was good enough for guests who would otherwise drink a full calorie beer. If I were a shareholder I'd be mad as hell.
Getting political is always a dumb move for most businesses
You might gain the support of a few from the political view you are upholding but at the same time you'll lose a lot of current customers
Know your customers first
like ben and jerrys support for defund police, got some customers who might not be new costumer but alienated many! disclaimer i not cancel culture, i don't boycott b. j. but i was annoyed. perhaps that is why companies prefer left, if take left, right not boycott but left is a threat? i need to reconsider now?
💯💯
Fail to go woke, banish yourself from 90% of pussy should be the slightly less catchy phrase.
Yes, I have a list of companies and organizations I am boycotting. I know I am not alone.
I hope so, and it serves their right. Woke crap is helping to kill off the TV soap drama here in the UK.
kind of true
Definitely
