Nah, I see no beive potential only sabotage and false accusations like the last time.
Now Buden on the other hand, as the 10% big guy there's Chuna dealings along with Ukraine. But then again when you're placed above the law I guess there's really nothing to worry about.
If it's a straight choice of Trump or Biden I would recommend Biden all day long. At least if you don't like him you know he'll be gone after another 4 years. Remember, according to SCOTUS there's no penalty for trying to remain in office indefinitely.
Aren't all politicians vulnerable to a bribe, and if not at least serious threats?

i don't even want to poll. but if the option is trump i will choose it. why can't independents win?
you know i'm not an independent. but i wish we had some good ones
no skull and bones fuckers
you're buddy's son is about to be. i know presidents have some immunity, but going after loved ones causes them to step down. will he?
at least there is some justice in this world. but they need to pursue joe after the next election
he's a conspirator in hunter's company. there's no denying that. they could go after his fanancials. where'd he make his money? let's not forget the younger brother. wasn't there one?
well, when hunter is accused of his crimes they will go after his father hopefully. there's no point in doing it with less than a year left.
not really. so no. we are a policed state
News flash, all politicians are vulnerable to bribes, Democrat or Republican. Luckily we have a 3 person race so were not stuck voting for the lesser of 2 evils.
Kennedy. Normally a 3rd party candidate wouldn't have a snow's balls chance, but were in an election where both major party candidates are equally hated and were voting for the equal of 2 evils and not the lesser of 2 evils. Recent polling has Kennedy beating both Trump and Biden among independents.
Same thing was said about Trump, and look he served 4 years. Normally I would agree a 3rd party stands no chance, but it's 2024, over half the electorate is independent and on top of that were stuck with the 2 most unpopular candidates in modern history, well maybe except for Hillary.
For the millionth time, Kennedy is not a republican, he's an old school, moderate JFK democrat. I know some people who voted for Biden last time who are voting for Kennedy this time. In 2020, many voters didn't vote for Biden cause they liked him, they voted for him cause they hated Trump more. Politics have gotten to the point people default to voting for the lesser of two evils, this election year, instead of voting for the lesser of 2 evils, people will be voting for the lesser of 3 evils, and Kennedy is the lesser of 3 evils by a long shot.
A: Kennedy is not a felon and B: Kennedy is no where close to Mitch McConnell. Kennedy it close policy to Jfk and is dad RFK. Kennedy is an environmental lawyer who's been standing up for the little guy for decades. Kennedy is currently representing people of east Palestine who negatively effected by the train derailment. You'd never See McConnell represent people against a large corporation.
Just some dirty lawfair to drain your opposition of resource, and spy upon them.
@oddbeme lawfair is the art of abusing the legal system to hurt other people. Not necessarily to win, but to drain them of time and resources. Unfortunately quite common in overly complex legal system have have elected too many self-serving lawyers to office.
This is particularity common at the hands of leftist who dominate the lawyer profession.
Ahh. Granted that happens. I’d be for tort reform if bad actors wouldn’t dilute the reform to keep consumers from suing corporations.
But…you can’t tell me Trump didn’t try to sway the Georgia election…or the evidence that he used campaign finance for personal illicit use. Sorry he’s cooked. Just depends if scotus grants him immunity or he stalls long enough to become president and pardons himself.
What will scare me more are people like you being OK with that.
@oddbeme Lawfair goes far beyond tort it is any abuse of the legal system simply to hurt other people.
Of course Donald Trump tried to sway the Georgia elections that is the point of running for office and as such every Candid must attempt to do so. Such attempts is probably the most fundamentally protected act in a system claiming to be a democracy. Although presidential elections are not strictly democracy as its really the state goverment not the people of the state who vote for president.
As for alleged miss use of campaign funds, I'm not prepared to believe any such claim given how easy it is to make with the fugability of money. Probably one of the easiest crimes you can accuse a politician of which is why its often used in lawfair.
I don't really see any evidence of any act for which anyone requires immunity. All I see is lawfair.
He did not sway the elections like you are trying to say. People are lying so much about Trump, Biden even recently said that Trump called Putin and said that Putin could do whatever he wanted to the allies of the United States.
This conversation never happened. Biden pulled that straight out of his ass.
@oddbeme Swaying elections is called democracy, democracy was not illegal in Georgia in 2020, if it has been made illegal since that would not apply to anything done then.
Can't say im shocked to hear you buy typical democrat gaslighting.
@oddbeme The President has no power over state officials, they don;t work for him and they don't take orders.
Both Trump and Biden on separate occasions experimented with ordering states around and were ignored. Therefore Trump's only influence over the Georgia State Government officials is being a fellow republican.
That Democrats have as they had countless prior times Choose to take Trump's words out of context to make phony charges, I really don't take even your suggestion that he had attempted to so order them seriously. It is impossible regardless, we have 200 years of history proving that fact.
Almost anyone would record a phone call with the president because its not every day you get to talk to him.
@RainbowMarinade Lawfair is a version of warfare except abusing the irresponsibly broad and poorly made laws of the state to hurt other people.
@oddbeme That is correct the Georgia Secretary of State is elected directly by the people of Georgia, that means he has no boss beyond the people of Georgian, the last such election was in 2022.
The man in question was nearly voted out if not for democrats exploiting anther easily abused flaw aspect of the Georgia voting system to vote for him in the Georgian Open Republican primary over his republican challenger who was ahead in polls.
Lindsey Graham in South Carolina made a career the same way drawing much if not most of his primary support from Democrats who then go on to vote against him in the General election.
Georgian makes that easy, just like they make it easy for the whole country to temporarily claim residency and vote there on almost no notice in any close election.
@oddbeme That kind of political influence is entirely legitimate in the form of party politics.
If you don't like the party leader elected a different one, or ignore them as every republican does regularly just as this one did. Many if not most republicans disagreed with the Georgia Secretary of State's failure to secure Georgia elections. Which lets be honest are really with the easily abuse loopholes already mentioned. Unfortunately a minority of republicans and large number of democrats who benefited from such a system won.
@oddbeme Georgia's system makes it trivial for anyone out of state to vote in Georgia advantageously. It also per-registeres most of the entire population not otherwise interested in voting to create a large pool of people who's votes you can gather and cast for them. Either via harvesting or directly via fraud.
No it isn’t party politics that’s illegal. And Georgia FEC is the same “federal” rules as the rest of the states. Read up.
https://georgia.gov/vote-absentee-ballot
@oddbeme
To the extent Washington published such rules The state has the duty to throw it in the trash because its completely unconstitutional. If the state not doing that the State really doesn't have a republic anyway, so it hardly matters what orders they take.
Regardless The president has zero authority or influence over a State secretary of State as demonstrated all the time.
Congress and the federal politician in black robes might claim some, but to enforce that your dealing with a lengthy and entirely unconstitutional court process that would only expose how criminally corrupt said goverment really is.
@oddbeme By the way your link only describes Georgia law
@oddbeme
As I said there is no legitimate authority in the Federal Constitutions over how states choose their electors. Therefore the "Federal election commission" an invention of the lawless era has no legitimate athoirty whatsoever. Not that the unconstitutional agency even claims to answer to the president.
Anther unconstitutional aspect of the Federal election commission is congress tried to make it "independent".
The only arguably tangibly relevant power of the Federal election commission is in regard to Federal house and Senate elections which notably does not include any state election or the election for electors.
Thou we might both agree this power as well centralizing under the President the power to control aspects of the elections of congress is extremely unwise. A president has yet to utilize such power over congress, and has none at all over anyone else.
Ok…I’m saying the election process which you think Georgia is lacking security, is regulated and financed by the FEC. Regardless of electors.
Trump got on a phone and tried numerous times to influence officials in his political party to “find more votes”. That’s not “just politics” that’s highly irresponsible and illegal.
If Hillary did that to her old friends in New York, you fucks wouldn’t shut up about it.
@oddbeme Even given what I just said about the FEC lacking legitimacy, what the existing agency does is attempts to control election financing. They have little control over the process the lawless federal courts are the ones who try to sense control of the process.
In either case the president has no say in the matter under the same criminal usurpation.
There is nothing of any authority a president could say or do to a State elected official. He coudl only file a lawsuit which of course he would do more advantageously in his capacity as a candidate.
Talking to members of your own party to go and look for votes is not illegal, and democrats do in fact do that all the time. I am completely disregarding your claim about what trump meant with those expressions given the track record of choosing to missinterpret what he said as something entire different.
Federal election assistance commission then…who knows the acronyms… “guidelines complement the technical standards for the Voluntary Voting System Guidelines for voting equipment”
I’m not sayin there’s contention between the feds and local election management. But they provide financing, support and guidelines. Nationally
www.eac.gov/.../election-management-guidelines
@oddbeme I don't so much object to the feds providing research, although I question its honesty where its money comes from. But we were talking about the FEC its usurped unconstitutional power and the implied threat a president who does not wield it.
@oddbeme I am quite sure he as did most every other president does every election and I haven't really felt a need to say much.
"Finding" votes is not criminal act, only manufacturing them is.
…no…
You’re very confused about what happened. This ain’t making an appearance at a congressman’s rally. This is calling from the oval, asking the sec of state to find more votes. Multiple times.
I don’t get how you can shrug this off. Yet Hillary’s email server, Obama’s Reverend, whatever…
@oddbeme The president can call anyone who doesn't work for him from the oval office and say almost anything and its free speech, not an order he has no power to give.
With a state goverment official a president can't even really threaten them as they might do a forign official.
Naturally none of this happened as your giving crazy interpretations to what Trump was saying just as other democrats did and even went to the extreme of impeaching him for.
As for what Hilary a non-president did was indeed a crime in running her official state department business on a private server outside the domain of control of the rules of the president including business which dealt with information deemed classified by the same.
All of which intentionally deleted upon being investigated in such a way as to insure it was not recovered. If Obama had done that it would be ok, but not for anyone who works for Obama without Obama's explicit permission.
@oddbeme
Executive orders of the President by definition only hold sway over FEDERAL LAWS, laws which don't include power over the State Sectary of State, or legitimately almost any state official.
Do you not know that States have their own independently elected Executives? Technically in Georgia the Secretary of State Is the chef elected executive specifically in charge of Georgia State elections issue.
Not even the state Governor can give him orders, although the Governor does hold far more sway than the President who has none, and he has to answer to the laws of the legislator and judgement of the state courts.
nonetheless this is one of the key advantages of states in that they can host divided executives being so close to the people for different aspects of the state goverment. State is a very common one, anther one is education secretary, and states can create as many for each agree of goverment as they like. Thus allowing the people to vote specifically on each.
@oddbeme
To those who actually read the "supremacy clause" know just as the federalist sold it, it doesn't mean anything beyond that state's can overwrite the federal Constitution with their own constitutions.
It doesn't grant any kind of power beyond the few and defined actually specifically given to the Federal goverment in the Federal Constitution. The amending 10th amendment likewise clarifies there are no unwritten or implied powers.
You guys are starting to get scared, I see.
You’re such a pussy
