What do you think about the terrorist attack in russia?

Personally I'm torn. The world experiences overall relief when any Russian dies but even so religious violence is unacceptable. However, the republican-controlled media coverage seems to be trying to push sympathy for the Russians, a hard ask while they are still raping Ukrainian kids on a daily basis with no plans for accountability. I suppose it makes sense given republicans' history with child rape and collusion with Russia, but it's easy enough that people might still have their own opinions on it. So what do you think?

I assure you if you would wear a T-shirt with "fuck Putin" in this theater , you would be arrested in less than 30 seconds by at least 20 agents. On every public event in Russia there is lot of police, OMON and FSB officials in undercover. Why not in this theater?
Main police station is less 1000 meters away, police needed 1 hour to arrive. Isn't that fishy?
After other massacre staged by Putin decade ago, metals detectors and security guards on entries in theaters, cinemas are obligatory in Russia. What happened there?
There are so many questions and the fact it's few days after election when Putin wants forcefully conscript hundred thousands of men. Doesn't allow other conclusion that this terror attack is staged to blame Ukraine. FSB has been caught by staging similar false flag terror attacks few years back, while explosions series on train stations before elections.

Gratuitous terrorist attacks on unarmed civilians are always wrong, useless and painful to see... but at the same time, Russia's doing just that by indiscriminately sending missiles into populated areas, far from the front lines, in Ukraine.

And, we have to remember that not everyone injured or killed in the attack might have been a supporter of Putin and his dumb war.

So, it doesn't shock me as much as the 2015 Paris attack, but it's still wrong... can't rejoice about the useless death of unarmed concert goers.

Had the attack occured inside the FSB headquarters or inside the Kremlin while Putin was there, that would have been another (way more satisfying) story.

Nothing to do with Ukraine, everything to Russia getting involved in bombing Middle Eastern countries and being linked to Iran.

Asker - That's an unfair statement. Compare the Russian-Ukrainian conflict with other conflicts that lasted longer... that Americans have put up with... US Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, Afghanistan.

The only comparable war is Vietnam. We had no business there other than global posturing. And there was massive protests and massive backlash and in the end we are rightly ashamed by it. Russia has no excuse for repeating our mistake when our example already exists.

And I was only interested in taking the time to lay out an example if you were trying to understand. That doesn't seem to be the case, though. I don't give many chances to people I've already written off anyway, so its not really a big deal.
