Why are women the ones who go on the most about accepting certain disabilities yet they are the ones who would abort the baby if it had a disability?

Down syndrome for example. "Down syndrome acceptance" this "down syndrome acceptance that" yet you would happily abort it if you found out the baby had down syndrome.

It’s not usually the same women. But even if it is, there’s a logical explanation. Once they’re born, they should be treated like any other human, but some women (not all) might feel it’s better for a fetus with Down’s syndrome not to be born at all.

If they are so great and we should "accept them" then why would you think that they shouldn't be born at all? If you think that they shouldn't be born at all then they are in the same category as pedos, rapists, murders etc.

Because they live with a terrible disability and they might be happier if they were never born at all. But once they are born, we should treat them with dignity and respect just like any other human.

The first sentence is not necessarily my personal belief. I’m too young to really think in any detail about what I would do if I got pregnant with a child with Down’s syndrome.
