I want to learn tips on how to become an apolitical person for a long time. I want nothing to do with dogmatic & cult like nature of politics.
the way to fight back, fight off an "invasion of opinions from both sides" and news companies, is to stop using wikipedia and push back USING your vote. i mean, read about each candidate from their OWN website and then compare.
like whitney wrote here, being an apolitical type just avoid the discussions.
you can be like actress s. Sweeney, who has "never said much about her political leanings".
her roles in shows like Euphoria, and Handmaid’s Tale, seem to have led a lot of her young, progressive fans to assume she’s liberal, but that is only the character she was acting.
just don't be like those celebrities cris evans and jennifer lawrence who exagerate everything and blame everything on republicans... they only do it HOPING They will get hired for another film. not inside them.

Of course it's possible. You don't need to have opinions about things.
I don't think there's a way to become completely apolitical. Politics is part of our everyday life and it affects us even if we know nothing about that.
If you want participate in election, it's necessary to be at least a little bit political. Otherwise you don't know who you give your vote.

Engage your intellect and critically examine issues. A pivotal realization for me was understanding that the global system operates on the basis of incentive structures. For way of example, consider how judges' political campaigns receive funding from defense attorneys. Steven Kerr highlighted this concept in his paper "On the Folly of Rewarding A, while Hoping for B," which is an insightful read. Just understand hat politicians, driven by an intrinsic quest for power, will act in ways that serve their own interests. At times, their pursuit of power and their incentives might align with our interests. With this knowledge, viewing political commentators online becomes akin to watching a damn circus performance. Once you see it, it almost becomes axiomatic. Observing the sheep blindly conform to the psychological games that target their basic and primal instincts can be simultaneously be amusing and saddening.
Not really. This is like asking "is there a way to continue not to fight off an invasion?" The only options here are to either prepare for it or to surrender immediately, which you'll find doesn't end the invasion but makes it last forever. The right is coming for your brain. You can either prepare to fight it off by staying informed or decide now to submit. I can imagine no greater Hell than to live inside the mind of a right winger. But if an endless cycle of grievance and rage doesn't bother you then it's probably for the best to just get a MAGA hat now - then everyone will probably just leave you alone at least until the far right takes over, then far right politics will be mandatory.
When serious political things are going down, being voluntarily silent is being complicit. You don't really have an option of whether you're involved. But you do have the option of how you're involved—if you take the initiative to choose.
Yeah, it's easier than you think.
Remember when you were in kindergarten or so you didn't even know the word politics or what these old men in suits were doing on stages with their talks?
Basically go back to when you had that kind of brain or thought process. And avoid the political morons, so they don't drag you in their shit.
Politics? You're out. Nuh-uh. No talk, no hear.
Stick to your guns. Decide your stance on each individual issue instead of going by party.
Be truly independent: vote for the best candidate regardless of party.
Realize that the only thing worse than a two-party system is a one-party system with no checks and balances.
Sure, if you really believe in your heart of hearts that your vote doesn't matter, and you think your MP that you didn't vote for doesn't read his letters and you're okay with politicians bending you over and fucking you dry and being powerless to do anything about it.
Under those circumstances you can be completely apolitical.
The communists are hoping you can find a way.
Just avoid political discussions. Although you should still vote.
In a world where everythng is about politics, I don't think it's possible for anyone to be completely apolitical
I'm not apolitical except when I have to be neutral at contexts like employment or neutral in courts etc 🧐
The problem is that politicians are in your wallet.
just be it
