Lots of people don't like politics and they are generally the best people to get into relationships with. There is a large share of the population which is like this which is why you really shouldn't ask them to be involved.

Of course, you can be a good and ethical person and not care about politics. However, politics control your world, so having no knowledge of it is also an issue.

I don't watch the news and I don't follow politics. I've missed election days because I just don't care about that nonsense. I'm more concerned about getting along with my neighbors and the people I see on a daily basis.
