Absolutely. Art depicts something that can't be said, making it a natural conduit for pain - especially in younger individuals who are more likely to bottle up emotions.
I went through the worst moments of my life recently.
Years of silent struggle turned into the worst mental breakdown.
The result was the loss of friends, legal trouble, further isolation, destruction of honor and image, and ultimately the death of my psyche.
I am slowly rebuilding from it.
My hope is that my Beauty will arise from this, and this is a "2nd" chance for me.
I agree. Which is why so many artists created their masterpieces after going through a bad situation.
