There's an infinite variation between a president being held responsible for crimes committed in the country's best interests (some spying, hacking, etc., for example) and making it impossible to hold a president responsible for any crime. Do you want the president to be legally allowed to eat babies alive?
How would you set that in advance? Why couldn't courts and juries, like pornography, "know it when they see it"? Killing terrorists acceptable (even with collateral damage), eating babies alive bad.

Covid was never even a big fucking deal. Our rights were violated for a flu variant that our government helped create then lied about it and got away with it. Our inflation since the end of covid is close to 24% and things like groceries are much higher.
