Can a woman truly be labeled as a pedophile?

Even if some women are attracted to little boys I don't think they can be labeled as pedophiles, mainly because women are very trusting around children and can do no harm to them, and even if they get caught doing things with boys then they're treated very leniently in the court house and receive lesser sentences compared to men.

If a boy ever gets taken advantage of by a woman he wouldn't be a victim, he would most certainly be a man after that experience and one lucky boy, so since boys would actually enjoy having sex with a woman the boy can't be a victim and the woman can't be a pedophile and go to jail since the boy wouldn't call the police on her, if you don't believe me then watch the video.

Anyone, male or female, who is sexually attracted to prepubescent children, is a pedophile. That is the psychiatric definition. A person doesn't need to act on these feelings to be a pedophile. Many such individuals do not commit child sexual abuse. Likewise, a person can molest a child and not be diagnosed with pedophilia because their attraction is not exclusive to prepubescent children. It may be a crime of opportunity, or perhaps they want the child to suffer for being innocent. Also, an adult having a sexual experience with a postpubescent minor would not be considered a pedophile by clinical standards, but they most certainly would be considered a child sexual offender by the law. The idea that a woman can't hurt a boy be making a sexual advance on him is absolutely false. The idea that a boy is somehow "a man" if he has sex with an adult woman, but a girl is "damaged" if she has sex with an adult man (and the man is a creep, while the woman is not) smacks of a huge double standard. Plenty of research shows that boys who are in such a situation have real troubles with trust in future relationships. Both scenarios are wrong and both men and women should be prosecuted if they sexually abuse minors.

The most bizarre thing I ever read, was a story in the Register or maybe the LA Times of a female teacher being - honest to god- prosecuted for having sex with a high school student ! MOST INSANE THING I EVER SAW !

First - Why would any high school boy - REPORT HAVING SEX WITH A TEACHER?

Second - How would anyone find out if the idiot was not bragging about it around school?

Third - In high school we had an English teacher was the hottest, most beautiful woman you might imagine... and there was not a single guy in that school that would not give his left testicle to have sex with her - much less tell anyone about it!

That video is staged, and yes they are and in fact common just like men, but they don't get caught or reported nearly as often.

But the opinion with boys enjoying sex with older women is BS because some girls would enjoy it with older men too but still be manipulated. Lot of boys don't like much older women too. This is a very toxic stereotype.

Just because they are bragging or saying they haven't been harmed, doesn't mean they are not being taken advantage of or used.

Yes, they can be. If you're an adult and are attracted to minors or children, you are a pedophile, hebephile, etc. by definition alone. I hate that people think that an erection means consent and that a boy can't possibly be traumatized by a woman. Of course, it isn't consensual and of course he can be, he's a little boy. Even a man could become traumatized from a woman who does that crap.

I firmly hold that women can and have been pedophiles; they can prey on young boys who are vulnerable physically and mentally. We can all look back at our younger selves and understand we were very innocent of the world and how easily we could be influenced and manipulated. Choice and decision is entirely what victimization is based upon. Just because a boy/girl is made to think it is okay by indoctrination or manipulation, does not negate the wrong doing. Marrying or having intercourse with a child is abuse.
