How do you feel about Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, being shot?

His condition is said to be critical and doctors are fighting for his life.

The guy who shot him is said to be a 71 years old man, who had a gun legally. The assasination was said to be caused by the man's frustration, after the Fico's party SMER, won parlimentary election last year, and this year, when Fico's ally - Peter Pellegrini, was elected a president.

Politicians always have enemies that want to harm them. Their safety depends on the security guards they can afford to hire and some places do not have a good budget for them.

Can't open the article without giving up a bunch of privacy stuff but from what I read elsewhere he sounds like a normal moderate. So, Putin is probably behind the assassination one way or another..

From what I read he is about as opposed to Russia as one can safely be considering their proximity. Well.. maybe not "safely" after all..

Yeah but apparently he supports Russia so what do you expect. However it is incidents like this that start wars. It is worrying as he could do without European countries being destabilized at the moment.
