5 really GOOD nurses!
You don't have the option of choosing good or bad. Just 5 random males or 5 random females
I don’t let myself get boxed in by others. I often create my own options and we are talking about my kids here so I’m gonna make enough noise…
Sometimes you don't have options other than the ones people offer you. You're dodging the question because you don't want to answer it
I’m really not dodging it. I would go until I was certain there really were no other options, but I can’t tell you how many times in my life I have been able to create options that no one believed were possible. I find who the real decision maker is and appeal to that person in a way that creates the desire in them to explore other possibilities, which often results in other, better options or at least then I am satisfied that, in this case, it’s not possible. Then I take what is possible. And I always express my gratitude bc I am grateful.
You're missing the point entirely. If someone asks you if you want beef or vegetarian, you don't say chicken. You choose from one of the options. That's the whole point of a question. Not to make up or force your own option.
I do understand the point. If someone asked me vegetarian or chicken, I would choose one or the other bc it would be rude to insist on something else when that’s what’s already cooked and available. And that is not a choice that could potentially be harmful to anyone. But if we are talking about my child’s well being, I do not care whether the nurses are male or female, I only care about the quality of the care. So if the male nurses were the best, I would choose them and vice versa if the females were the best nurses. But, if neither were the best nurses available, I would do whatever I could to ensure my. child had the best care possible. Do you really go through life letting people just give you your choices? I kind of doubt it. But for the purposes of this exercise, I choose 5 female nurses. Sorry to upset the apple barrel lol
It's a question... not real life. On a test you answer one of the multiple choice questions... not make your own up. I'm not gonna continue trying to explain here. You did not answer the question.
I did answer it. I said 5 female nurses.
Either is fine.

5 qualified nurses.
You did not answer the question
i did. the genitals they own are irrelevant for the role as i need them experienced and qualified as the only qualifiers
@HawkPerception I'm so sorry, but you seem to have a couple of willful females on your hands... that is the mind of a mother... and, actually, I see a lot of humor in this... sometimes we just gotta stop and laugh at an absurdity!!
@Caroline91 Honestly, even though I have a serious persona with my questions, I was actually just trying to prove a point to my friend with this. And that is that females nowadays are "progressive" and don't like taking a stance with genders. But the fact is... females are generally more nurturing than males and males are generally physically stronger than females. That's why most people would prefer female nurses and most people would prefer male officers. Some may not want to admit it in fear of being labelled sexist, but it's just a fact that will not change in society.
So I was just laughing at a lot of the answers 😂
Me too. I could see the point but my mom brain wasn’t going to go there. If you had used any other person but my hypothetical kid in your question, I would have said females nurses immediately. But you may have inadvertently proved another point lol
Three women and two men.
