Especially if you're expecting the babysitter/nanny to do stuff like bathing or supervising kids in baths or helping them change into pajamas etc? Which would be the better option in your opinion and why?

Females have a natural maternal instinct, but I'd choose the one with a better reputation regardless of their gender. Or I'd choose a family member. I'd pay the family member though, people who make you babysit for free just cuz you're related are dicks... I'm looking at you aunt Karen

Id rather have a family member watch my baby. Id never have a complete stranger watch my children. And because there are more females in my family, it'd most likely be a female. But i wouldn't mind my dad watching my future babies
