I am planning on leaving because I have dual citizenship (from birth), large savings, investments, and can work from anywhere. Nothing to do with politics.

People don't realize you can't just up and go somewhere else and live there, Visas are a pain in the ass and competitive. Almost no country just let's you become a citizen. Where will all these people go from either political side? What country do you think will let random Americans in?

The reality is a very small amount of people can even afford to do this nevermind actually put the time effort and resources in to actually drastically change their lives in a political whim.

Your question should have been if Trump wins. I do not live in the USA but i cannot imagine leaving the UK where i do live regardless of who became Prime Minister. I campaign instead and not give into them. No PM will be allowed to force me out of my country. You are lucky in the sense that their is a term limit in the USA, not so here in the UK.

Actually it is a very important distinction. A democracy is simplistically centered around the will of the people meaning majority rule. So if majority voted that all special needs people were killed they would be killed. If it voted that all blacks were enslaved they would be enslaved. Where as our government has checks and balances to prevent immoral majority rulings that could harm the populace. Also you should consider the mental health of biden when trying to claim trump is "mentally ill" the fact neither of you know the difference between a democracy and a constitutional federal republic is equally concerning and unsurprising given that how you conduct yourselves. I left the US a few years ago as I don't actually support either party as both are harming the populace. Too many Americans are focusing party over policy. And as of today I haven't seen much to in regards to policy from Republicans but I have seen astoundingly harmful policies from biden.
