So Trump wanting the US to be a strong and powerful nation respected by both our Ally’s and our enemies in order to prevent war and conflict is somehow considered “kissing Putin’s ass” but Biden weakening the US and sending American tax dollars over seas to fund wars in order to appease Putin isn’t considered “kissing Putin’s ass”? What happened to keep your friends close and your enemies closer?

I do not see how you could think that is a bad thing, it clearly is not. That makes them less of a threat and means you can defeat them.

I think it's good that they respect you. It doesn't mean that because you hate someone that you can't stay professional about it. Play by the rules.
On the other hand, if they don't respect you, it could also mean that they underestimate you which means that you can have them play in the palm of your hand.
