I don't do confrontation in a way that lands me in jail or makes me the crux of social disgrace and ignorant medical banter by pretentious professionals. The bible says the one who births hatred and controversy for useless and pointless reasons, will bear the burden of the fire they started.

That does not mean you are not allow to disagree with the culture but if you disagree in a way that is designed to destroy both the reputation of your cause and the reputation of those who oppose your cause and your motive is hatred and not societal change, you will be punished cause you don't believe in your loving religion you just pretend to believe it cause you want a legal license to hate others without looking like a villain. Using religion to conceal the hatred that would be unacceptable if there was no theology to justify it.

The police don’t act until after a crime has been committed. I’d rather commit a lesser crime to prevent a bigger one

The law is worthless and there are plenty of stupid laws. Laws are made by normal human beings... not a god. If someone kills my loved ones, I'm not letting them have some years in jail and the opportunity to rehabilitate. I'm going "Law Abiding Citizen" (the movie) on their asses. I believe in justice. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth. If someone rapes a child, they deserve to die. If someone steals someone's life's work, they deserve to die. If someone breaks into someone's house, they should expect the homeowners to defend themselves and potentially die.

Did you hear about the case where a burglar broke into someone's house, slipped on their stairs, sued them and WON? Yeah, that's how fucked up the system is.

There are certainly cases where vigilantism sounds enticing to me, but I'm a law-abiding person and would never engage in it. Although that doesn't rule out being a good citizen who acts in an emergency to protect someone. I actually did that one time to protect a woman who is being beaten by a man. I'm not sure that's a vigilantism, I guess it's a similar idea.

Not even sure I would do that today because of the crazy world we live in. If it's a Democrat run place they'd probably end up arresting me and giving the guy a medal.

I have always believed in "An eye for an eye"... but the legal system does not allow that, and we see horrific homicides... take place in a state that does not allow the death penalty... and that makes me barf with disgust.

I would try to 'execute' them.

The whole point of society is that people with specialties can perform with heightened ability compared to the average of what those they serve would be capable of doing if each acted from a layman's skills. Letting the law take care of justice is supposed to be just another manifestation of this, but sadly it's too easily corrupted by those who specialize in corruption greatly outmatching layman voters.

    Depends on what's going on.
If it's rape, sexual assault, abuse, pedophilia or anything to do with my mom, I'll fuck them up no matter the consequences.
If I could die, I'm not in a position to do anything or it's just not needed for me to intervene, I'll let the law take care of it.
So in most cases I'd let the law take care of things. In some cases, I wouldn't be able to not do anything.

Vigilantism denies the alleged perpetrator their right to due process of law. The accusations might be purely based on rumor and might not be based in reality at all. You have to have a justice system that won't put people in jail or executed when there might be no basis in fact that the person accused, actually committed the crime.

I wish I could say police would always do their jobs we pay them to do. But that always isn’t the case. The police are there to serve the government’s interests first then keep the peace. Use them when absolutely necessary and when you don’t mind the government in your business. I don’t condone vigilantes.. they are purely selfish. I believe in community coming together to police themselves and keeping everyone accountable to a collective standard.

There is no excuse for vigilantism unless it is treason. There is especially no excuse for vigilantism when it comes to sexual offences, domestic abuse and violence towards women and girls.

I don't do revenge. G-d does a much better job. He killed a person that screwed me and I did not go to jail for murder. I'll take that.

I have considered becoming a vigilante. I don't think that it will work out well for me; so I haven't gone ahead with it.
