I used to support Trump on the most basic of policy promises back in 2016: Fix border, fix Infrastructure, get troops home from Afghanistan because it should be Afghanistan fighting for their freedom not us adding money to the debt, veteran benefits, jobs, etc.

President Biden in 2020 promised exactly the same thing which made it easier and less of a stress to switch since hey not only is he promising what the other guy did, he is doing more for the pandemic crisis and promising an end to the civil unrest.
President Biden’s Pact Act gave veterans benefits they couldn’t apply for / even get a few years ago, now it is super easy to sign up and to get those incredible benefits, Chips And Science Act paves the way for thousands of future jobs in production of microchips used in everything from cars, washing machines, phones, etc. which will make America able to have a footing in the tech industry like we used to, Afghan pullout which reduced how much money is put into the deficit paving way for his own political ambitions, Infrastructure Act not only leads to thousands of jobs, it gives aid for local state road construction projects, bridge repair/replacement, more airports & highspeed rail, increasing highspeed internet coverage, etc. for decades to come, American Rescue Plan which puts relief & begin the nation’s healing from the global pandemic that affected the US so much.

Trump may seem cool to those that already wear a red hat made in China though he isn’t, Biden isn’t cool and he is boring though I normalize going back to treating politicians as public servants with flaws and not some ‘innocent baby’ who can’t do nothing wrong….. Trump stole 300+ classified documents, had an affair behind his wife’s back which she didn’t show up to his trial to show support or even say the GUILTY verdict on the 34 counts of falsifying business records was unfair. Melania Trump clearly knows the truth and won’t step in even though she was at the Trump Tower the whole last week of his trial…. Truly amazing. January 6th left his own supporters DEAD from tasing oneself to cardiac arrest, one woman with a ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ flag being trampled to death by fellow supporters, a woman shot for not listening to the police officers protecting politicians from harm.
How anyone is willing to die for, get arrested for, and defend him is beyond insanity.

They are spending a lot of money to try to make it appear that way, but that's just because they know absolutely no one is going to vote MAGA for policies.

But I do predict in 20 years or so a MAGA hat will trend as some punk thing in much the same way Biden accessories are now. Seriously, I remember when punk basically meant that you were playing music that caused old white men in trucks to yell at you. You can now accomplish that same thing with a Biden bumper sticker 😅

There's always masses of people who "turn their coat in the direction of the wind" as we say in my country. They follow whatever most people do, they believe whatever media tells them to, they feel whatever most people tell them they should be feeling.
