Why did Republicans vote against the toughest border security reforms in Congress that they put together?

Republicans early this year voted against reforms when both parties would have made it law. Republicans keep talking like they want to do something about the border but they don't do anything to help but complain. Republicans do not want to even try to help. Trump is a liar and failure.

It doesn't matter if your Democrat or Republican when you get elected in office. The next day there are special interest groups secret society groups business groups and they are all the people that fund each politicians election. They wash your back you wash theirs

The only difference between a Democrat and a Republican is the way they use their words but they all want the same thing because they all want to be reelected and all the above is the ones that donate money but they want something for it. ..

It's just a big game it's politicians that are supposed to be working for us but they go out of their way to destroy us because of greed they want that paycheck and they want to feel important and they will sell themselves sell the American people to get what they want..

Because if they did they would go against whoever is donating money to them. And it's big big bucks for them to get reelected..

Example our government was to create its own currency which they already have but they want to become our bank they become our bank and we have to use their currency their Bitcoin or whatever it might be there will be no more dollars that means you cannot go by whatever you want to buy because it will be traced and trapped if you go to the store and you want to buy something just say they don't like it that day you can't get any money out of the bank because of whatever reason s if they give you once we are under their thumb like that we are going to be fucked.. . Can you see one politician standing up to tell us this... Democrats and Republicans are the same... They just use a different language to make it seem right there . Are different just to keep everybody confused while they do what they want to do for themselves not the people

It’s called “sabotage politics” and both sides do this regularly. Since it’s more important to win than actually do anything meaningful for citizens, the trend for the last seven decades has been to pretend everything good that has ever been done was YOUR party’s work, and everything else was someone else trying to DESTROY you and everything you hold dear.

No new laws were needed. The current laws just needed to be enforced. The bill you mentioned was just a money laundering scheme. Thus people that like our country opposed it and people that wanted to destroy our country voted for it. It's easy to see where you stand.

There was no money to finish the wall The extra Border Patrol àgents were other for arrests and deportations and 4000 illegal aliens a day could stream into the country. This bill did nothing to help the problem. It was just a big turd and Mike Johnson was right to not even look at it
