Because people becoming [morbidly] obese is often the result of deeper problems, can be prevented and often can be reversed.

Not always, there are most certainly exception, but generally this is the case.

Despite people who are obese complaining a lot about their appearance, and often medically aren't in a very healthy condition, they do nothing to work on themselves.

The 'Fat-Shaming' does not need to stop... but what's going on nowadays that Obesity is being promoted as 'Beauty' is wrong, despite some of them really not being ugly.

Obesity is bad for your health, period.
