Why are people so threatened by outspoken confident people who are leaders?

Why must everyone be sheep, weak, low esteem and a follower?

Leaders are overrated. Lets say everyone else are sheep, weak and has low self esteem; That just makes leaders the kind of people who crave recognition and admiration of those people. I personally do not prescribe to such categorizations and prefer to view people as individuals rather than containers for stereotypes.

From my point of view, those who struggle to become leaders are usually the most weak-minded and their reasons for seeking power are usually the most pathetic or outright evil. They are not something that I feel threatened by.

It's usually leaders who want to move things in a direction that makes people uncomfortable that people feel threatened by. And the percieved degree of discomfort can influence the threat level.

I don't think people feel threatened by them- I'd suspect some are just jealous, but I'd guess most dislike them for their style or what they stand for.

Those threatened people find themselves overshadowed because they see themselves as inadequate in fields of education or intelligence in general.
