Yet if you point out the obvious as to why a lot of Palestinian civilians support Hamas you'll just be accused of justifying it or being labeled a terrorist sympathizer. But it's exactly the same reason, Palestinians have been abused for over 70 years and that has led to hate and violence that has only gotten worse. When it's Palestinians they're terrorists, when it's Israel it's just a trauma response to their past. When both cases should be condemned... People who choose sides don't want to see that both parts have contributed to the current situation, and that there seems to be little care to change it. It's unfortunate.

I saw a meme that had "how blacks became christians" and it had a bunch of white christians beating the crap out of a bunch of black people. Then the next frame said "how Latin America became catholic" and it had a bunch of white catholics beating the crap out of a bunch of Latin American natives. Then the next frame said "how the kurds, etc became muslim" and had a bunch of brown Muslims beating the crap out of a bunch of kurds etc.

Seems like that meme could have a "how the jews became nazis" frame added to it.
