Do you get a long with family member who have differing political views?

My family is an even mix of differing political views, and we get along just fine as were adult enough to respect others political views.

I believe the political view reflects your life ideology and moral values and is not just a simple binary preference for two equally righteous or equally unrighteous candidates. The example I have is that I can be friends with a religious person for 20 years without arguing once but around a non religious person, we might argue 5 times an hour because our values clash.

Got pretty upset with my family laughing at me about covid and then they died. My brother was with my family laughing at me then suddenly followed my lead. little too late for shit to matter in my opinion. So I've been kinda bitter about the whole thing to be honest.

Why give a fuck only after when life kicks you're teeth in? Give a single fuck and we can be a happy family but no life has to beat you down for 12 rounds to consider the liberal path is somewhat desirable.

Only 6 months before voting do I meet my other relatives cause they can't be adults about anything. Even our not having a baby yet.
