The "cure" is that their body changes and not their mind (ie a male-to-female trans person who took the pill would become totally female both physically and mentally, rather than totally male)

Would you agree with that pill being prescribed as a treatment option for trans people? Or would you disagree and want it to be banned?

Not every transgender person wants to be the opposite sex though. Some are gender fluid and some non binary. Some want to be seen as the opposite gender but retain their current genitalia. It's more complicated than just taking a pill and becoming the opposite sex. For the ones who do just want to be the opposite sex including genitalia I'd imagine some pill like this would be a godsend.

Of course, I don't think anyone would agree with forcing a medication on those who don't want it. I just mean about having it as an option, in addition to what's already available.

Yeah, in that case, I'm sure it would be great. Just have to make sure it's locked behind therapy so you don't just have random people using it just to cosplay for a few days or committing crimes and then changing back or something weird, lol

You wouldn't tell a person who thinks they want to be a tree that they are sane and normal, and that it's ok for them to be a tree and give them pills to turn them into a tree. Pull your head out of your ass.

Weird hypothetical, but okay. What do you think the options should be for a person who "thinks they want to be a tree"? When they go to a therapist or doctor about it, what do you think should be available for them to try to "cure" themself?
