I'll explain. Neighbor upstairs let her kid run, jump and stomp for hours on end. On top of her and 3 other adults in her household stomping, dropping things, staying up all sorts of night and I couldn't sleep, rest or relax in my place.
There's a lot of reasons why I couldn't find the place I wanted. The main reason is they've allowed me to break my lease and my lease is up soon anyway. I didn't want to renew and be stuck in hell.
So I found a new place (God is good 🙏🏽) and it's the top floor with nobody above me. It's a downgrade in comparison to my old apartment but doable. I just want peace. I figured I'd only have to be there for 1 year and can move and find an apartment that I think is more aesthetically pleasing for me down the line.
I plan on staying to myself and not making too much noise so the people below won't complain.

Loud neighbors in apartments is really irritating, I have friends who live under big families with kids that run around all day and they learned to just tune it out. I don't think I could do that lol so I would rather have less space with some peace and quiet too!
What exactly is ''downgrading''?
From what you describe-> you are going to upgrade :D
That's true lol. I mean it doesn't look as updated and not as spacious as my old apartment but yes in a way it's an upgrade 😂
Your home feels as comfortable as you set it up :)
That is true. Thank you ❤️
I would for sure bail in that scenario. When I used to live in an apartment, I got it on the top floor for just that reason.
