Former London Mayor and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was born in the United States, which technically makes him eligible to run for US President.

Considering how divisive the country seems to be about both current candidates, would you vote for Boris if he was on the ballot?

Boris was ousted because he broke covid isolation rules and had a party. That makes him the bad boy criminal just like Trump that Americans love.

He had crazy plans like building a bridge to Ireland. Americans love crazy plans.

He wanted to turn Britain into Peppa pig world. Just think no Muslims and everyone is pink, it's more MAGA than Trump could dream of.

Except Trump didn't like or impose those rules, It was the independently operating state governments that imposed them, Trump simply relayed the information given to them while leaving them to do their own thing.

Trump had no power to lock down any state nor any power to unlock any state. Both Trump and Joe Biden tried and failed to get particular states to change their policy on the issue in both directions.
In both cases the state goverment ignored them.

Building a bridge to Ireland particularly using a tunnel as part of it would not be very difficult technically speaking. the UK has good options, is not crossing any fault lines, the sea is not that deep. So yes it could be done.

I think where Boris failed was not abolishing the NHS, not establishing a free trade zone, or Joining the Canadian federation to get their trade and cultural access. While effectively taking over Canada in the near term.

Re the Irish bridge. Its over 800ft deep with strong currents and the bottom is covered with tonnes of unexploded bombs disposed during WW2. No politicians left or right would suggest abolishing the NHS it would be political suicide. After brexit he'd never convince the public to join up with Canada.

I think it is interesting how poor the united Kingdom really is and has been for decades ranking between Alabama and Mississippi 2 of America's poorest states with vastly inferior geography.

The irony is if the united Kingdoms were a members of the united States they would probably be in a similar economic situation as New England, due to geography and politics. Having like new England driven all their working class people to other states, leaving only those too rich to care to raise the GDP.
