How long will and can Nato finance Ukraine?

The war seems to be far from over in the near future. Zelensky is being mocked and called a beggar. How long will and can Nato finance Ukraine

NATO spends about a trillion dollars each year on their military. The total aid to Ukraine is in the billion dollar range which includes far more than just military spending. 1 trillion is 1000 billions which means that the yearly military expenditure of NATO completely dwarfs the entire war contribution of multiple years. Its not even close.

Furthermore, the equipment given to Ukraine are generally speaking military surplus. AKA equipment that has already been retired and replaced which means they dont cost those countries anything to give away.

The current level of support that Ukraine is receiving is not even straining for NATO, it is well within negligible levels. For example, if NATO actually wanted to make a sacrifice then they could completely equip the Ukranian military several times over. There are around 1500 Leopard 2 tanks and 2500 Abrams tanks in active service, as opposed to in storage and reserves. All those tanks could in theory be fueled up and given to Ukraine in a month. This would give Ukraine several times the amount of tanks they currently have and they would all be combat ready and with the latest equipment.

That is not to talk about the reserve tanks or other tank models like the challenger.

Point is that Ukraine is a very small country compared to NATO so its needs are equally small. As for how long will NATO support Ukraine? Probably until the war is over. NATO has nothing to gain and everything to lose from Ukraine falling under Russian control.

The question is why we are not providing more support!! We GUARANTEED them our protection from Russia aggression after implosion if USSR. They were the 3rd biggest nuclear ICBM nation and WE encouraged them to give up their ONLY BARGAINING CHIP to Russia in return for our protection. Putin invaded Crimea. We did close to NOTHING!! He invaded Ukraine and we woke up. Taiwan, South Korea, Nepal, the STANs and the Indo-Pacific region SAW we didn't honor our word!!

Will be financed until the Ukraine war is no longer profitable for defense contractors and it's the next Afghanistan, then the US and NATO will move onto another country to destroy so defense contractors get their paycheck. It's a never ending cycle of perpetual war so defense contractors always have a steady stream of income.

The rulers wouldn't let Trump do that. look what they're already doing to him for going against the grain too much. We can reflect back on these comments in a couple years though.

And I'll also bet that Ukraine will be the primary battle ground of the wars. And possibly Iran. If they don't have nukes, that is. If they do, then another ME country, like Yemen, Lebanon or Syria.

There were already NATO countries on Russia's border (now there's one more).
