Let's say a candidate claims to be a Christian, but he does not attend church, says he does not ask God to forgive him, says he's not sure we should love those who hate us, does not bless those who curse him, is not humble, has committed adultery more than once, and spreads lies.

Clearly, by his words and actions, he is not what he claims to be. If in his heart, he was a Christian, it would show in his words and deeds.

If you're a person of faith, could you vote for such a man?

I'm an atheist but I think if people claim to walk with God, then they should walk the walk and talk the talk. I also believe that all human beings, religious or not, are to be defined by their deeds and actions not their words and intentions. The short answer to your question is no I would not trust a candidate who lies about their faith.

1) Most politicians lie about their faith and do public acts like go to church and say "God bless America" to gain votes.

2) Some Christians don't think other people are proper Christians unless they follow the exact same rules.
For example, I know lots of people who believe in God and pray to Jesus, but don't follow the same rules as Bible thumpers.

Lying about Christian faith is serious since it is basically using people for their vote without a single care in the world for their beliefs / feelings, just utilizing their thoughts to make it your success.
Candidates to prove they are faithful should complete either one or all of the above listed 1) Recite a Bible verse 2) Be able to sing a faithful song 3) Talk about a lesson from The Bible or 4) Attend Church when applicable 5) Maybe hold a Bible Study or be a part of a Bible Study

@OtterMan68 Walz was given that rank because it was assumed that he would be in command of a combat unit. Meanwhile he was going through the steps of retiring. He did not tell anyone connected with his unit but when it was discovered what he was doing he was stripped of the rank. He made it sound like he retired a Sergeant Major. He is trying to get out of it by saying that he sucks at grammar. What a pantload that is!
