He deals with changing leaders all the time, and she's as impressionable as any. He's probably saying that in public, but behind the scenes via social influence, pushing for Trump. He will get more with Trump... Kamala is controlled by the neocon/clinton/obama/biden group and that means continued war.

I doubt he cares, situation so screwed up now for decades, possibly forever. You can't "un-! uck" things... only go foward maybe to better stability. I don't see kamala bringing a lasting peace. That likely means 4 more years of massive death, and with high odds of nuclear catastrophy in the area, not to meantion drone warfare like we've never seen.

It might be strategic. Putin knows that he isn't popular with most Americans. So he may have endorsed Harris in order to cost her votes.

Putin's no fool. I doubt if he wants a vapid, horse's ass in office who will do whatever the maniacs in the Pentagon, State Department and CIA tell her to do.
So maybe this is reverse psychology to get someone (Trump) in office who has a shred of independent thinking and common sense, and is capable of dialogue.

The U. S. started the Ukrainian debacle in 2014 when O'Bomber was in office. Russia was given no choice but to take action in 2022 during the Biden administration when the U. S. encouraged Zelenski not to negotiate in good faith. So I doubt if Putin honestly wants another war-monger Democrat in office for the next 4 years.

But Kamala would be like butter in his hands. He would get away with all kinds of things that he didn't get away with when Trump was President.

He can't lose. If he hurts harris, that increases trump getting in, and he gets on well with trump. If harris gets in, then she will be putty in his hands. So he's going to endorse the one that benefits him the most, obviously.

It is hard to tell if he is being serious or not, but I can definitely see why he wants Harris over Trump.

Biden and Harris might have been just funneling money to Ukraine, but to Putin, that's just the equivalent of sending him a sternly worded letter threatening him with an army he can simply nuke with a snap of his fingers.

Meanwhile, Trump just tells Putin that he is going to nuke Moscow if he makes a move on Ukraine, which would explain why he waited until Trump left to invade Ukraine.

On the other hand though, Kamala Harris is unpredictable. She might unleash a nuclear apocalypse, while Trump will definitely not. Does it add up for Putin to rid the US of the superpower status in exchange for a nuclear exchange that would also cripple Russia? I think it's more of a provocation to rid Kamala Harris of votes, as Trump is a person of rationality and integrity (except his attitude towards China, which is anything but rational), and since Putin will have to at least negotiate a ceasefire soon, he most likely wants a responsible person to handle the negotiations.
