Democrats, what is your vision and strategy for the Ukraine war to end?

Do you see Russia wearing out and giving up and going back to the old lines, giving up on Donesk?

Do you see Russia being defeated by Ukraine?

Do you see some other scenario, that causes a negotiated end?

I ask because if you vote for Kamala H., the world continues on the same path. The war has been going since 2014/2022. What would bring about it's end.

The issue here being that Ukraine is smaller and running out of men and materialsa s the primary issue. Now the US govt is talking proving long range missiles... to attack deeper into Russia. The risk to this is escallation and callup of additional men, possibly from other countries, including yours.

So Do you have a vision for how this ends under your chosen candidate?

With the US a critical influencer, the lives of many are in your hands... aren't they?

Not a Democrat, but the very easy way to end it all is a ceasefire and then the Russians pull all their military and other supporting elements from Crimea and other areas basically back to pre 2014 borders. It was an illegal invasion and it’s down to Russia to accept that and withdraw.
At present the Russians do not have a way forward, it lost pretty much all of its black sea fleet to a country without a navy. The biggest problem or one of the biggest problems if Ukraine call for a cease fire and Russian forces are still in possession of Ukrainian land, Putin will spin it as a victory and at somepoint start it off again. Then there is Moldova and Transnistria which is pretty much the next target for Russia, also Baltic countries as well. The main thing now is approval for long range attacks and clear airbases and also hit Russian power plants.

it's sounding like a game of chicken coming up... the hail mary pass... enable long range missiles to threaten core Russia, hope they back down. But if they don't... then what? That leaves us a hair trigger away from big escallation.

I am an independent but I can assure you the Democrats will escalate this until nuclear hellfire is rained down upon Ukraine or perhaps even the USA. Putin will definitely do that rather than go down and if he has to go down? He's going to take us with him.

We need to give putin a way of exiting the war without losing face. If you take the Cuban missile crisis as an example Russia removed missiles from Cuba but in exchange the USA removed missiles from Turkey allowing both sides to claim victory.

I think it might take being on the brink of a full scale war to get all sides around the negotiation table.

yes, although seems the west doesn'thave much to negotiate with other than guarantees... which they failed to hold to in the past. were heading that direction with long range missiles and insufficient ukranian troops. already have foreigners in the fight, will be more coming to hold the lines... but from where?

If that fails, sneak a dirty bomb into Moscow and detonate it by the Kremlin.

We stop our quest to make Ukraine a NATO member and allow them to remain neutral, which is what Russia wanted all along. Ukraine joining NATO has always been a red line for for Russia, as they don't want NATO weapons on their border anymore then we didn't Soviet missiles in Cuba. Biden could call Putin, and say it was a huge mistake to try and make Ukraine a NATO member, lets negotiate, but he won't, Ukraine joining NATO is too profitable for the Military Industrial Complex.
