Marjorie Taylor Greene noted the head of the largest teacher's union was not a "biological mother," when she was questioning her in a house committe. The union leader has adopted children.

Buttigieg has adopted children, and Harris is a step-mom.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders took aim at Kamala Harris for not having biological children to keep her humble.

If pro-life people say "adption, not abortion," shouldn't they be more appreciative of adoptive mothers and step-mothers? Shouldn't they not think less of them? Why does the party of "family values" dismiss the role of step-parents and adoptive parents?

Their views are likely tied to their traditional beliefs on family structure and roles. They also know that women having biological children comes with a fixed timeline, and they don’t like the idea of women shifting how parenthood could mean something outside of what their biological clock dictates for them. It’s similar to reason why they’re so mad about the birth control pill and abortion. They don’t like us taking control over our own bodies and lives.

That’s horrible. A mother is a mother when she wants to be. If she adopts, for example, she is a mom. Plain and simple.

You should break down that number more, Most of them 200k+ are only temperately with plan to reunify with Parents.

63% were only ever taken from the parents on "neglect" grounds which is vague depending on state can be something for which other states would never have taken them.

The Median time in Care is only 15 months. With family being 35% of "foster care" providers.

Only about 28% are even looking for adoption.
