Israel just closed Al Jazeera in West Bank because it's trying to control the truth. But that's not possible. The terror inflicted by Israel on civilian population is plain for the world to see. The truth is plain.

I understand Israel is afraid of being annihilated. Isolated in the Middle East. The people are afraid. They might prefer to be near NY City but they are closer to Iran. Israel will learn later of the mistakes they are making.

By the way, I'm not in any way connected to the situation. I'm fully independent observer. Before people start lecturing me about October 7. Yes, that was wrong.

I do like Lebanese food, and the women are alright. Those are the people who fled the terrorist regime in charge though. Same with Palestinians I know living in the US. They aren't here because it's so amazing there. Why not go back and show solidarity, or fight together?

You can pull out a map of Lebanon right now and it'll show you where not to travel in the country, and if you go to stick around Beirut because of war, murder, kidnapping. The fact that there are blackouts in the region.

Kind of seems like there wouldn't be much work to do besides war as well, though there isn't much work in general with an unemployment rate around 30%.

I find that extremely unlikely, if those numbers ramped up, or even remained unchanged, you would have more civilian casualties in 2 months and some change than in any year in Iraq.

It's less believable since there are up to the minute numbers, which means people recording survived. If you are trying to wipe people out you kill the people with cameras first.

Well, twofold. Israel has been passively defending itself for decades now and is fighting back, righteous. The other is that Lebanon is Hezbollah's base, it outright controls parts of Lebanon, and is a terrorist organization. I take "civilian deaths" with a grain of salt where terrorist organizations are concerned. They don't exactly follow the Geneva convention or wear uniforms.

Lebanon does have a military separate from Hezbollah, odd how they aren't getting involved...
