A sex worker can make good money but you pay for it in other ways. I know a sex worker she's 23 and her mental health is completely destroyed. Like I don't think she'll ever recover from it in her entire life. All she does is distract herself from her pain with drinking and drugs and partying and talking to a guy online who gives her attention and lying to everyone to seem more interesting or keep people entertained and to cover up the things she's ashamed of. There are good things about her personality but she's a disaster in so many areas like you can't trust her or rely on her at all and she pulls you in to stupid bad situations even though I keep my distance more than most people and set boundaries it's impossible to be around her and not get pulled into some stupid drama or some lies or something. She told me she was in the hospital and I went to visit her she wasn't even there lol then she said she had psychosis and that's why she lies about it. I don't know it's crazy.
They just made a comic about her life story. I read half of it so far but now the most depressing parts are gonna come and I don't know if I'm looking forward to that.
I'm sure some sex workers can work in more safe ways and be less traumatized maybe but if you choose to work in that industry you're putting yourself in a very vulernable position. Your first job might be more humane and pay well and you think this isn't that bad and this was the same for this girl I'm talking about her first job it made her happy she was still ashamed but she liked her lifestyle and she could support her mom and stuff she didn't even have to sleep with guys just do erotic massages but then she trusted the wrong guy and boom she ended up in a brothel and things went really bad.
And once you're in that situation it's gonna be really hard to get out. You'll probably be addicted to drugs you won't have any options, you will have to keep working to fund the drugs and food and a room. You'll never have enough money to try and stop and make a change. You can only get out if someone helps you and the police listen to you or so.
The amount of problems you'll have in other areas of your life the money will just disappear quickly. And even if you get out the scars will stay with you for your entire life. So I would not recommend it.

It also depends on what you classify as sex work. Does include anything that shows off their body, like dancing in a strip club or having an OnlyFans site?
When it comes to actual prostitution, women can be from all kinds of backgrounds.
They may be lured from other countries with the promise of employment and wind up trafficked.
They may be from low income families/neighborhoods and started husseling to earn money because there are no jobs and all they have to offer is sex.
They might have run away from home and wound up on the streets, then befriended by a guy who initially helps them, but winds up owning them and pimping them out.
They might be from low, middle, or upper middle class families, got addicted to drugs, and eventually started selling themselves to support their habit.
They might be from low or middle class homes, decided to move to another city, were unable to get a job, and wound up taking up work in a brothel.
They may be from middle class families and secretly engage in prostitution to pay their tuition and bills while in college. They have a list of high paying clients and work their own hours. Those are smart girls who have plans for the future.
They might be from a low or middle class background and find a rich man who provides them with a lavish lifestyle in order to have a beautiful, live-in sex doll at his disposal 24/7.
They may be from any kind of background and become the exclusive mistress of a rich, married man who pays for their lodging and expenses and gives them expensive gifts.
And some come from upper class families, have education, social skills, elegant manners and poise. Those are the ones who make tens of thousands of dollars a night as high end escorts for millionaires.00 Reply
1 yMost sex workers in my country are poor. The same goes for those porn girls they have from my country because most girls from regular or high income backgrounds don’t pursue those careers. At most, they become models and actresses but even that is frowned upon.

You can have OF models and strippers making nothing because they can't finesse money out of guys in the same club where people are making 6 figures for a smile, dance, and 30 hour weeks.
I don't see them as any particular class, except maybe extremely volatile, and an income that starts declining at about 25 or so, again, depends on the person. One Chippendale dancer I had talked to was older, but man oh man the amount of juice that he had to do... his balls were basically for decoration at that point. That is such a wringer to put your body through to stay in the game rather than work at Wal-Mart or have saved up some cash.

u 1 yI have never used the services of a prostitute but i have known one. My understanding is that the vast majority of them are poor.
10 Reply 6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Income can be anything but I do consider professions that cater to impulsive people to be low class. However, I also don't think of low class as a bad thing so much as "everyone's starting point." Yes, ideally we would all strive to be better but the reality is some people dont and if sex workers are going to step in to sell them the illusion of rising above their station, i suppose there was never going to be a better outcome anyway.
But to be clear, this has nothing to do with the class ofmthe sex worker - just their clients. To the sex worker it's all an act, really. They have to act as slightly above the class of their clientele. Their success in doing so determines their income bracket, not the class of their clients. Class has nothing to do income. There is some correlation but as Trump has shown being a low class billionaire is not even unlikely for a billionaire. They were just born that way - they never had to learn the sort of self control it takes to earn a million dollars: they were born impulsive and never had any incentive to do anything but keep at it.00 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I have an escort "friend' in Vista California, that I have visited on two occasions. After meeting her and spending time with her, I abhor the terms "whore' or 'prostitute' as I count her as someone with worth that earns a LOT of money (600.00. per hour) for her services. She insists on condom use and has a 'laundry list' of client characteristics that are not acceptable.
She drives a BMW and lives very well, and writes on YouTube regularly.
I classify her as 'high' income

Having been involved with a strip club for many years ( if you count that ) , we had high- middle , middle , lower , interestingly the lower ( which may surprise ) could rarely handle the gig , they generally fell fowl to the traps , drugs , drug dealers , " would be " clients , abusive..
It was an interesting lesson in life , but we had many upper middle too , who could handle it , and would just walk the other way when it came to the traps. I always wondered if this went back to childhood actions.
00 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I knew a girl who worked as a sex worker. We worked at a call centre together. Her boyfriend was abusive and she needed extra cash to get away from him.
Through my church I knew one or two former sex workers as well.
They had one thing in common: they hated themselves for going on the Game in the first place. They all worked out of "Gentleman's Clubs" ostensibly as "dancers".
They had to be paid through the club, which meant they got very little of what they charged for the "entertainment" they provided.
And they were miserable until they got out of the business.
What social class they were wasn't an issue. If most people found out they'd be pariahs irrespective of their bank balance.00 Reply- 344 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yHighly depends on the person and their influence. One of my friends makes quite a lot between her accounts where she shows off herself and her boyfriend. Another friend just makes enough for some side cash.

They make a lot of money if they are attractive enough, but lot of them give it out for frivolities or are addicted to some mofo who pumps their pockets empty. I guess I could make much more with my butt instead putting my fingers in people's mouths but I can be a dentist still with 50 as sex worker the demand disappears with the freshens of the youth.

1 yAll classes have a presence in sex work ! Poor people need the money to survive feed their families and keep a roof over their heads. Middle class to augment money lost to inflation to stay middle class. High class or wealthy Figure if they are going to do it they might as well get paid for the thrill.

1 yI have no idea what their rates are these days but, last I heard, it was $100 bucks for a single fuck. Each fuck takes, what, 20:00? If she's got a constant line of fuckees, she's making $300 an hour! An 8-hour shift brings her $2,400!! That's nearly $53,000 a month! You bet your sweet pussy that some damn good money!!
