These people have every right to keep these criminals out of their communities. It is sad that America has come to think where even suburbs are not safe. There are two sets of laws an illegal aliens are allowed to drive around with no registrations and no insurance and just plow into anyone who gets in the way and there are never any consequences,. I live in a small area of the world yet in 2023 there were 4 people killed by illegal aliens.. One was a 28 year old mother of three and another was a 7 year old boy. The 28 year old mother was run off the road and left to die. It took the cops a few days to track him down and when they did he said he left the scene because he was drunk and was afraid he would be arrested.

Hopefully next year the deportations will begin and taxpayers will get some relief.

2. There were locals in the community living there willing to welcome them with empathy & humility.

My families fled oppression feeling unwelcome in their home country on both sides wanting a better life in general so…. Yeahhhh would be hypocritical of me to absolutely spit at their face & dehumanize them when people were doing exactly that to immigration waves in this country. Our country is a melting pot and I love that, diversity in cultures, food, religion, beliefs, politics, etc. is a good thing not a bad thing.

I don’t believe all them lack empathy, though I think a lot get riled up in emotion / ideology more than the facts & details whether it agrees with their logic or not. Wished more people did see what I see because we need to agree on our founding principles, immigration is one of them…. Once we forget who we are, the road gets muddy… I want this country to be prosperous, strong, united, and resilient. We lasted almost 250 years would be a shame to lose that now. They spoke English outside of their homes. Most enlisted in our military to go and fight against the countries they had just left. They followed our immigration laws at the time. So save that uneducated bullshit. Just because someone claims refugee status, doesn't actually qualify them for refugee status. Why didn't they go to the first civilized country that they came to? There are plenty between their country and America. Americans are for legal immigrants and these people are not immigrating here legally. You think that Biden and Harris fast tracking their status to legal, actually makes them legal? It doesn't. It makes Biden and Harris traitors. They've completely ignored our immigration laws that have been on the books for decades. Immigrants are required to read, write and speak English fluently.
