Do you think the average people in New York City have better or worse social skills than the average person overall?

I am in NYC, and I can't help but wonder. It's so different compared to most of the world.

Better because it's not as racist as other states and there are many different cultures around the city like Flushing Queens is Asian culture etc. So they get a lot more interaction with different types of people worldwide and tend to be less judgmental. Whereas if you travel to other states some people might be more close minded and only interact with the few people in their community and don't go outside of their community.

Truthfully I went to NYC for a few days in 2008. I was expecting the worst but actually the people were very friendly and helpful. The police were outstanding. I went to Jersey City for the day as well and the people were nice there.
