Why do some become immigrants and do not sit and fight in their countries?

People also becomes refugees because of things like natural disasters and climate change. For example there are people having to evacuate away from islands due to rising sea levels.

But honestly, I dont think people should be married to the soil where they were born. Traveling is good for you and moving to other countries is also good for building character.

Depends on the nation, just because you don’t hear about a guns and violence war doesn’t mean a cultural war isn’t still going on. Boatloads of black people became immigrants/refugees from America to live in communist Russia for a better life back during Jim Crow. That’s a reasonable way to be called a refugee, I think. If you have to be afraid of doing or saying the wrong thing or just being a black person that catches the eye of a white person who would prefer to lynch and hang you themselves

In fact Elon Musk is South African and used the immigrant "golden visa" trick to come to the USA. He might even have been an "illegal" in the USA at some point before he got citizenship.
